Scholarship Application

Eligibility Requirements

Candidate must:

1) be a graduate of an accredited secondary school where she has shown evidence of academic excellence, good citizenship, sportsmanship and community involvement;

2) be in need of financial assistance to pursue an undergraduate education in a college or university in the state of Alabama;

3) have an interest in the game of golf;

4) be a resident of the state of Alabama; and

5) score a minimum of 22 on the ACT.

Instructions

1. Fill out application completely. Please type or print.

2. Include two (2) letters of recommendation from your high school staff and/or local WAGA member.

3. A copy of your SAT scores, math and verbal and/or your ACT scores must be submitted.

4. A copy of your high school transcript must be included.

5. The financial statement must be signed by your parent or guardian.

6. Please include a statement of approximately 200 words, explaining why a college education is important to you.

7. The application and all pertinent data must be postmarked by April 1st to:
